How to use Event & Alert Search

This guide is designed to give a step-by-step overview of the features for Event & Alert Search on RoscoLive.

Event & Alert Search allows fleet managers to locate event clips based on a multitude of filter and search options easily and efficiently.

NOTE: Event & Alert searches may only go as far back as 31 days from the current date.

Step 1: Navigate to Event & Alert Search Window

Navigate to the Videos page and locate the Event & Alert Search button at the top right corner of the page. Click it.



This will open the Event & Alert Search window.

Step 2: Search for Event & Alert Clips

There are four tabs available for different search methods:

Recent Alert & Events Tab

This tab allows for the viewing of alerts and events generated within the last 24 hours by vehicles in the fleet. The search bar allows for specific searches for vehicle name or alert type. The results list is by default ordered in descending order by date and time, this however, can be changed when headers of other columns are clicked.

To view an event, simply click on the link provided in the Event Clip Link column of the results list.



Vehicle Search Tab

This tab allows for viewing event and alert clips by specifying one specific vehicle within the fleet. Select the search bar for a drop down list of available vehicles or manually enter the vehicle name to search. Click on the desired vehicle's name. Use the checkboxes to filter out what events and alerts to appear in the results list. Finally, specify a date and time to narrow down the results better.



To view an event, simply click on the link provided in the Event Clip Link column of the results list.

Fleet Search Tab

This tab allows for the viewing of event and alert clips by specifying one or more vehicles within the entire fleet by selecting the checkbox next to the vehicle's name. The type of events and alerts to be included can be specified by the corresponding drop-down menu. A start date, end date, and time can be selected to define a range for the results in the list. After the search criteria is selected, click Search.



To view an event, simply click on the link provided in the Event Clip Link column of the results list.

Fleet Alerts & Events Tab

This tab allows for the viewing of event and alert clips for all vehicles in the fleet by specifying types of events and alerts only. Select or deselect boxes next to what events and alerts to include in the results list. A start date, end date, and time can be selected to define a range for the results in the list. After the search criteria is selected, click Search.



To view an event, simply click on the link provided in the Event Clip Link column of the results list.

This tab allows for the viewing of event and alert clips associated with a specific driver. Select the search bar for a drop down list of available drivers and click the desired driver's name. Use the checkboxes to filter out what events and alerts to appear in the results list. Finally, specify a date and time to narrow down the results better.



To view an event, simply click on the link provided in the Event Clip Link column of the results list.
