This guide is to give a step-by-step overview of the features in the User Settings page on RoscoLive.
NOTE: Some features may differ according to what permissions the end user has.
Locate the user icon at the top right corner of the page and click it to reveal the user drop-down menu.
Select Settings in the drop-down menu.
The User Settings Menu Page has two tabs displayed at the top of this page:
The Settings page is where personal settings and notifications are found. There are four sections on this page.
Profile section contains personal contact info such as first name and last name. User timezone and speed unit type are also configurable here. These settings affect how a user sees event information.
NOTE: The settings do not change any settings on the camera.
NOTE: The email address appears next to the section header, but this cannot be changed.
This page is where you can come to subscribe to all of the alerts and notifications on ROSCOLive.
The notifications are split into three sections:
To enable a notification, click the toggle in the notification box.
A modal will appear to allow you to customize how you receive the notification. Each notification has the option of being sent through email and/or SMS.
If you select to receive notifications by Email then you will receive the notifications into the email account provided in your user account on ROSCOLive.
If you select to receive notifications by SMS, you will receive the notifications via text message to the phone number provided. SMS requires you to select what Groups and/or Vehicles you would like to receive notifications for.
After you are satisfied with your selections, click Save to save the options for the notification.
NOTE: If you want to receive SMS notifications you must agree to Rosco Vision's SMS Notification Agreement.
For subscribed notifications, they will appear with a checkmark toggle.
The second tab is the Password page. To change current password:
Password Requirements:
A prompt will appear at the top right corner of the page to confirm password change success.
NOTE:An automated email will also be sent to the email address associated with the user account for which the password was changed.
If an “Invalid Password” prompt appears, ensure that the “current password” field was entered correctly
and repeat process again.
If a “Passwords Do Not Match” prompt appears, ensure that the “new password” and “confirm new password”
fields were entered correctly and repeat process again.
When a change is made on any of these pages, the SAVE CHANGES button will become active on the top left corner. The button is independent on each page. If there are changes on different pages, save the changes on each of the pages independently.
