How to use User Settings

This guide is designed to give a step-by-step overview of the features in the User Settings page on RoscoLive.
NOTE: Some features may differ according to what permissions the end user has.

Step 1: Locate User Settings

Locate the user icon at the top right corner of the page and click it to reveal the user drop-down menu.

Select Settings in the drop-down menu.

Step 2: User Settings Menu Page

This is the User Settings Menu Page. Three tabs are displayed at the top of this page:

  1. My Profile
  2. Password
  3. Email Notifications

My Profile

This is the My Profile page. Here is where your personal settings can be found. There are two sections on this page:

My Info

This section contains your personal contact info such as your first name, last name, and contact phone. Note that your email address appears next to the section header, but this cannot be changed.

Region Settings

These settings allow you to customize the timezone you would like to see the event timestamps in and the speed unit type. NOTE: These settings do not change any settings on the camera

Password

The second tab is the Password page. To change current password:

  1. Enter current password.
  2. Enter a new password.
  3. Re-enter new password.
  4. Click “SAVE CHANGES

A prompt will appear at the top right corner of the page to confirm password change success.

NOTE:An automated email will also be sent to the email address associated with the user account for which the password was changed.

If an “Invalid Password” prompt appears, ensure that the “current password” field was entered correctly
and repeat process again.

If a “Passwords Do Not Match” prompt appears, ensure that the “new password” and “confirm new password
fields were entered correctly and repeat process again.

Email Notifications

This page is where you can come to subscribe to all of the email alerts and notifications on ROSCOLive.

The notifications are split into three sections:

  • Camera Events - These are email notifications that will alert you to particular events when they occur in your fleet.
  • Fleet Status - These email notifications inform you of any changes or of something that may require your attention within your fleet.
  • Camera Health Alerts - These are email notification that will alert you of any potential functionality issues with a camera.

To enable a notification, click the toggle next to the name so it shows green with a check mark.

Save Changes

Anytime a change is made on any of these pages, the SAVE CHANGES button will become active in the top left corner. This button is independent on each page so if you have changes on different pages, you will have to save changes on each of the pages independently.
