NFC Reader
The NFC reader is a device that allows event and vehicle data to be categorized by driver names through a swipe of a card/tag.

Rosco recommends to swipe the card/tag when the camera head (DV401) is fully boot and operational. In addition, any swiping of cards/tags when the vehicle is in motion is NOT recommended. Here are the recommended steps to operate the NFC reader safely.
1. Turn on the vehicle.
2. Wait until the camera fully boots up showing the time and “REC” on the LCD screen on the camera head.
3. Swipe the card/tag on the top surface of the reader. If you hear a beep, then the reader took the card/tag.
4. Verify that the LCD screen say “1d” for ID. This is verification that the DVXC has registered the ID.
